I have been single for 5 years, and find that there is a part of me that is longing for a loving intimate relationship. But being alone and travelling the world now, for 5 years, I also truly appreciate this time, a gift to myself, and have discovered the joy and freedom of being alone. I have also grown and evolved in self discovery over these passing years. I am (mostly) happy and at peace with myself enjoying the experience of each moment. Life is good and I am grateful.
I know I am held in love by life …
… and still, in the background, there is the longing for an intimate relationship to dance in love, and loving ♥️

I was in a very similar place, so I can empathize. 7+ years single, and though I loved my time and appreciated my friends and my life, I also felt that I wanted to find that romantic connection. Not because I felt incomplete, but because partnership felt like the next stage and evolution of my growth for me. It sounds like you're doing so much inner work and really loving the life you have. Stay in that magnetism. Continue doing what you're doing. A big, beautiful love will come, and I have a feeling that when it does, you'll be so grateful you waited for it. And if it helps, I kept repeating the Rumi quote to myself any time I felt the desire for partnership: "What you seek is seeking you."
